You better believe I already ordered one!

Farm Rio is one of my go-to brands for bold, seasonal pieces. Living in a subtropical climate, my clothing is easily more colorful than when I lived in NYC, and I always like an out-of-the-box piece to pair with simple jeans. Also, this is a great reminder to follow my first statement and opt for bolder, fun pieces.
While I think of Farm Rio as a clothing brand first, namely warm-weather-wear, the brand added a few bags to its repertoire recently, and I am entirely obsessed. Sure, a designer bag is my typical go-to – from a well-known brand, but I want to mix it up outside the box. I’m still riding that White Lotus-style high; I think about that last season at least a few times a day, and when I spotted these bags, they screamed White Lotus to me.
A Summer Bag for Less than $100
I had to double-check the price of this bag more than once. It’s hard, like very hard, to find a bag under $100, especially one that is actually intricate. But this bag has detailed elements alongside a very resort-chic silhouette.
The Farm Rio Scarf Mini Bag is available in three variations: Maritime Portraite Multicolor, Bananart Green, and Dream Garden Red. Each features a printed satin handkerchief design with knotted accents that feel very tropical (again, the tie back to White Lotus feels on the nose here).
The handles intrigue me even more. Each is crafted from carved wood and tied back to the print of the design. There is a fish, banana, and wood leaf handle.
If you want to know how much this bag and its price are impacting the handbag world, I have my eight-year-old daughter standing over my shoulder exclaiming, “It’s only $90!?! Oh my!” See, even she knows what’s up!

Finish the Look
Farm Rio gives every bit of an editorial flare regarding its clothing, and I need to start amping up my wardrobe for this summer season and beyond. If I had an endless clothing budget, I’d buy these items to pair with the bag or on their own.
